Életszövet Kft. processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and applicable Hungarian legislation.

2. Contact Requests

When you contact us, we may process your name, e-mail address, telephone number and any other personal data that you voluntarily provide in your message.

Purpose: responding to enquiries and maintaining contact.

Legal basis: depending on the nature of your enquiry, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract or the legitimate interests of the Controller.

Retention period: until the matter has been concluded and, where necessary, for the period required in connection with potential legal claims.

3. Events and Programmes

When you register for a programme or event, we may process, in particular:

  • your name;
  • e-mail address;
  • telephone number;
  • billing information;
  • information relating to the selected programme and your registration;
  • other information you provide through the relevant registration form.

Purpose: managing registrations, maintaining contact, organising and delivering programmes, processing payments and carrying out related administration.

Legal basis: processing necessary for entering into or performing a contract and, in respect of certain data, compliance with legal obligations.

E-mails necessary for the delivery of a programme – including information concerning dates, location, payment or practical arrangements – are not considered marketing newsletters.

4. Special Categories of Personal Data Processed in Connection with Self-Awareness Processes

When registering for or participating in certain self-awareness programmes, groups, retreats or individual processes, participants may provide personal information concerning their health, physical or psychological condition. Such information may constitute a special category of personal data under the GDPR.

We request and process such information only where knowledge of the information is necessary to assess participation in the relevant programme, ensure the participant's safe participation or provide an appropriate framework for the self-awareness process.

Purpose of processing: assessing suitability and safe participation in a programme and providing an appropriate framework for the self-awareness process.

Legal basis: the data subject's explicit consent.

Special-category data need only be provided where justified by the nature of the relevant programme. When such information is requested, participants will be informed if providing particular information is necessary in order to assess whether they can participate safely in the programme.

Special-category personal data are treated confidentially and may be accessed only by persons who require access for the purposes of delivering the relevant programme or individual process.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

5. Newsletters and Program Information

If you provide separate consent, we process your name and e-mail address in our customer relationship management system in order to send you news, professional content, information about events, programme recommendations and other marketing communications.

Legal basis: your voluntary consent.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, without giving reasons and free of charge, by using the unsubscribe option included in our e-mails or by contacting us at info@eletszovet.hu.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

6. Payments and Invoicing

Where online payment is available, Stripe may participate in processing the payment.

We may use Számlázz.hu for issuing and managing invoices.

Personal data contained in accounting documents are retained for the period required by applicable legislation.

7. Electronic Records and E-mail Communication

We use electronic record-keeping and communication systems to manage registrations, subscriptions and customer relationships.

External service providers may also be involved in e-mail communications and the technical delivery of messages. Such service providers may access personal data only to the extent necessary to provide their services.

8. Hosting and Technical Operation

We use hosting, IT, security and other technical service providers to operate the website.

When you visit the website, servers may record technical information such as your IP address, date and time of access, browser information and device information in order to ensure the secure and proper operation of the website.

9. Cookies, Analytics and Marketing Technologies

The website may use cookies that are necessary for its operation and – subject to your consent – analytics and marketing cookies and similar technologies.

Marketing technologies may be used, for example, to measure whether a visit or registration occurred following an advertisement and to measure and optimise the effectiveness and targeting of our advertising.

Non-essential analytics and marketing technologies may only be activated after you have provided the appropriate consent.

You may subsequently withdraw or modify your consent through the cookie settings available on the website.

10. Disclosure of Personal Data and Processors

To the extent necessary to operate our services, we may disclose personal data or make it accessible to, in particular:

  • hosting and IT service providers;
  • electronic record-keeping and communication service providers;
  • payment service providers;
  • invoicing and accounting service providers;
  • public authorities or other bodies legally entitled to receive such information.

Some service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, personal data are transferred subject to appropriate safeguards permitted by the GDPR.

Special-category personal data provided in connection with self-awareness processes are treated with an increased level of confidentiality and are not used for marketing purposes.

11. Your Rights

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you may have the right to:

  • obtain information about and access your personal data;
  • request the rectification of inaccurate personal data;
  • request the erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing in certain circumstances;
  • exercise your right to data portability;
  • withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

You may submit a request concerning your personal data to info@eletszovet.hu.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes applicable data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság – NAIH) and to seek judicial remedy.

12. Amendments to this Privacy Notice

Életszövet Kft. may amend this Privacy Notice where necessary.
