The aim of NetworkSpinal® is to help you access and directly experience your body’s innate self-healing intelligence.

Your body has an innate capacity to continuously regulate, sustain and – when needed – reorganize itself.

This is the same organizing intelligence that built your body from a single cell: forming your organs, your nervous system, and developing you into a complete human being in the womb.

And this capacity is still present within you today.

Your body is constantly sensing, adapting, regulating and regenerating. One of its most important communication systems is the nervous system, which continuously connects the brain with the rest of the body.

Throughout our lives, however, we are constantly exposed to physical and emotional strain, stressful situations and experiences that require the body to adapt.

In response, the nervous system may develop patterns of functioning and protection that serve survival and become stuck in those patterns over time. As part of this, the system may push certain bodily sensations, areas or experiences into the background and reduce access to the information coming from them. It can feel as though we become partially disconnected from certain parts of ourselves in order to cope with a particular situation.

How does NetworkSpinal support this?

From the NetworkSpinal perspective, the goal in these moments is not to “fix” the body from the outside or return it to some predetermined ideal state.

Instead, we support the nervous system in regaining access to bodily sensations and information from which it may previously have become partially disconnected – in the service of survival – while also gaining access to a new source of energy.

As this information becomes accessible again, the brain and nervous system can gain a more complete picture of the body's current state. According to the NetworkSpinal model, this may create the possibility for innate intelligence to reorganize the body's functioning in a way that is better matched to the actual circumstances and challenges of the present moment.

During a NetworkSpinal session, the practitioner uses gentle, precise touches on specific areas of the spine.

The practitioner does not try to create change through force or return your body to a predetermined “correct” state. The touches provide signals to the nervous system that may help it perceive new information and energy.

The practitioner does not create the change. Your own nervous system and body provide the response.

This is what a NetworkSpinal session looks like.

When might NetworkSpinal be of interest to you?

Some people come because they want to move beyond a long-standing problem. Others are fundamentally well, but are curious about how they might function with even greater freedom, flexibility and capacity.

If you'd like to move beyond a problem

    • You have already tried many things, but the problem keeps returning.
    • You have done a lot of work on yourself, but still feel stuck and nothing seems to help you move forward.
    • Anxiety or panic sometimes feels so overwhelming that you struggle to hold yourself together emotionally.
    • You regularly experience pain in your lower back, back or neck.
    • You live with a herniated disc, scoliosis or another spinal problem.
    • You often feel tension or stiffness in your body and find it difficult to truly relax.

If you sense that more is possible

    • You would like to develop an even deeper connection with your body and become more attuned to its signals.
    • You would like to adapt more flexibly to stress, change and life's challenges.
    • You would like to have more energy, presence and inner resources available in your everyday life.
    • You would like to sense life's calling more deeply and notice increasingly subtle signals within yourself and around you.
    • You want to get even more out of your life – you are longing for more.

Whether you want to move beyond a difficulty, or you sense that there is more within you than you can currently access, NetworkSpinal offers a new possibility to explore what your system is capable of.

NetworkSpinal does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. Some conditions may require medical evaluation and care.

“It helps me connect, through breathing and bodily sensations, with painful, shut-off parts of myself that I had never dared to come this close to before. What I love about the method is that it bypasses the overthinking, talking-my-way-out-of-it part of me and keeps me in reality. It takes me out of my comfort zone, but it also holds me while I’m there.”

    Alíz R.

“NetworkSpinal sessions helped me rebuild my connection with myself and my body. Through it, I experienced that built-in, ancient body wisdom, which has continued to support me ever since. Loving. That’s the first word that comes to mind when I think of NetworkSpinal.”

    András S.
